From late 2024 to early 2025, I focused on the theoretical study of service design and how it impacts the wider user-centred design (UCD) ecosystem. After spending over 5 years prioritising, practising and continuing to learn about content design, I felt service design represented a natural path of progression in my pursuit to continue developing in the UCD space.

In this CDP-certified course, you learn from and work alongside experienced practising content designers. The course takes you through running a content design project from start to finish as a team. It shows how content designers work efficiently within their project teams by taking you through a scenario based on a fictional brief. You’re given insights, knowledge and understanding of practices enabling you to deliver content projects from inception to completion.

The UI course is the natural follow-up to the UX course with the UX Design Institute. The course teaches the principles and techniques for designing quality user interfaces for digital products and services. As well as continuing to build on your knowledge about UX from the previous course. Students design the user interface for a new banking website and app to put the skills taught from the course into practice. The course is also credit-rated by Glasgow Caledonian University.
